Apple Wireless Mighty Mouse + Ableton Live
Hey everyone.
I've read a few other topics regarding the Mighty Mouse's useability with Live, but I am still unclear as to everyone's level of happyness with it. Can you guys let me know what you think about Live + Mighty Mouse on a scale of 1-10?
Thanks!

apple mouse = form over function... stupid and hardly usable.
which is weird.
i think everyone at apple has brain implants and they don't even use mice anymore.
which would explain why their mice suck.

I simply use a Microsoft laser mouse with my MacBook. It's white and has three buttons plus a scroll, and now with OSX you can click both buttons effectively. Does the job. Wireless would be nice however, seeing as it takes up a USB port. However, there's no way I'd pay 50.00GBP for a mouse, especially not a mighty mouse. Avoid.

Ill put my vote up for the mighty mouse. i love it. its perfect. There isnt a mouse on the market that will give you are nice of usability as the scroll ball.
I dont know why people are talking about it not being fast enough. I think they need to leanr how to use their settings. You can make it shoot across the screen just by tapping it if you want to.
Other than that, it gets crusted up. Its amazing, but it is my 3rd this year. I dont really have a proble buying more because i love how much faster it makes my workflow. But if you use it every day, i wouldnt expect it to last more than 4 months before the ball is shot.

Ya, the big issue is it basically isnt cleanable.
The biggest problem i have with it is apple didnt make it easy to take apart. I guess its part of their whole "no screws" theory. If you could take it apart it would be a breeze to clean. i just wish they would remedy this. But until then, they can keep giving me a new one every two months under apple care.

I don't have a mighty mouse, but was also interested in this discussion because I was thinking of getting one... well, was. Anyways, I found this link for those of you wanting to clean your mighty mice:
