M-Audio AXIOM 49 is bust!!!!!!!!!!

Post by BeyondReazon » Thu Oct 12, 2006 8:59 pm

I've had a load of m-audio gear in the past and they've all been fine, until I came to the Axiom 49. It was fine for about 3 months and now it's suddenly decided to stop working and freezes. I do a factory reset adn it works for abuot a minute, then it freezes again.I've not installed anything new and nothing has changed in my set up at all. Has anyone else experienced any crap like this?

I will be contacting m-audio support tomorrow to try and get a replacement, has anyone esle had any bad luck with something like this?

I've had mine about three months, and it's definitely dying on me. Just haven't had the time or ambition to deal with it. Shame, cuz I really like it, but not sure if I'll get another one if they don't replace it...

Oh son of a bitch!
Mine came two days ago, and I haven't had a chance to try it out yet! It felt REALLY solid in the store, nice and meaty. I hope it doesn't crap out. It would just add to my hatred of M-Audio.

I wanted to give them another chance sooooooooo bad. I guess I'll find out in three months.

I think they know they got a bad batch of power suplies or whatever, cause when mine started having a problem they gave me absolutely no problem about replacing it.

yes, call M-Audio tech support asap. . . My Axiom has been rock solid, but it's got a 1-year warranty just like yours. That's what warratnies are for, call 'em and find out what's up.

same goes for all you other guys with this problem. . . call 'em, that's what they're there for. It's what I'd do if mine ever had an issue like that.
