What you need to do is find a song that you really like, figure out which notes are in it and then pick the best 10. With any less than that your song will be boring. Or more, for that matter. Don't play them too fast either, or else you'll run out and either have to cut the song short or add more notes. Finally a serious conversation about music composition on this forum.

10 NOTES!!!??? I hope you don't mean different notes. I mean, this is really getting tough. My trance song could get ruined... i am really at a loss here....

What if i just add more drum notes and harmony like this

F drum note, G drum note E E E E harmony E E E E E E E E E E E F drumnote E E E E E E E E E black key next to E E E E E E E E E E E E harmony E E E E F drumnote F drum note, G drum note black key next to E harmony F drum note, G drum note E E E E E E E E E E E E E E E F drumnote E E E E E E E E E black key next to E F drum note, G drum note E E E E harmonyE E E E E E E E E E E F drumnote E E E E E E E E E black harmony key next to E E E E E E E E E E E E E harmony E E E F drumnote F drum note, G drum note black key next to E F drum note, G drum note

Have you ever studied music ? If not you should consider taking piano lessons or some music theory... This will curb your woes..

Remember, rests are just as important (in some cases perhaps more important) as the actual sounding notes.

Don't neglect the rests!

No, really, please...

You're obviously not a very experienced musician, and certainly not a professional.

Rests are not music at all. Anyone can "play" a rest...

And woe betide thee if you try to compose a piece for pay with too many rests in it. Your fee will be reduced by the percentage of rests in the piece; after all, no one is going to pay a musician for silence!

r.

look, all you guys are forgetting that it's not just about the sound here. performance is important, that's why we use live remember. you ABSOLUTELY MUST perfect the art of NODDING, WINKING and SMILING while staring at your laptop screen.

it's harder to play less than more, imo that's the mark of the better musician.
