Axoim 25 w/Live 6 help

Hey everyone, I recently bought the Axiom 25 and the pads/keys work, but the knobs don't seem to affect anything. Has anyone else had a similar problem?
I did a search and didn't find anything on it. I also tried to make sense of Enigma but no dice.
Any help would be appreciated.

Maybe I should have been more specific. Encoders are not responding no matter what I do or what program I'm on, and for whatever reason, Live won't allow me to do a MIDI dump of the controller. Like I said, if anyone wants to help a newbie out it would be appreciated.

So if you go into MIDI map mode it won't let you assign anything? If not, you might check your Audio MIDI settings and make sure th computer is seeing the Axiom.

I just got an Axiom 61 the other day, so I'm still figuring it out. From what I understand (from the complete lack of support materials from M-Audio) is that you want to use preset #17 on the Axiom - which is pretty much a blank template. From there you should be able to go to MIDI map mode and assign things the way you want.

But like I said, I'm still getting set up myself so I have many questions/issues as well. And I can't make much sense of Enigma either.

If you make a good template, send it my way. I still don't have anything decent saved for my Axiom 49. I just jam out for a while, lose interest and forget to save. lol.

i've been messing about on template 19 on the axiom 49 for a while-the one provided here:

it seems like the scripting ain't perfect, and you gotta restart live every once in a while to get it working well again

but, when it does work, it's great-you load up a vst, click on the gui (if it's native) or open up the parameter editor via the little triangle button, hit pad 1, twist the knobs and get the first eight params, hit knob 2, get the next eight params on the knobs, all the way through pad 8

one thing you won't find documented is the cc #s of the various parts of patch 19. the pads are cc's #80, 81, 82, 83, 85, 86, 87, 88 and the knobs are cc's #102-109.

what i can't figure out is how it works-it only controls the vst "in focus" and i can't get another controller to do the same thing. i guess that's the "scripting" part, eh?
