My humble little setup...
M-Audio Axiom49 controller, FireWire Solo, BX8a studio monitors, Sony MDR-7506 headphones, and CAD M9 tube mic.
I have been told that I need to put my studio monitors up on foam pads, so that will be my next investment I guess.
The rest is all software of course.

I wish I had an ION, such a versatile cool synth & control surface!
I missed a great deal on one cause the guy flaked, but maybe one day!

god you *all* have such tidy studios!!!!
very impressive but they made me feel really guilty after looking at them,
so today I'm proud to present my new studio (actually version 9, if you include the corner of my parents living room when I was ten, where the upright piano stood).
Before: (btw, the grey fluffy things you can see are made of *genuine* dust, which I harvest every now and then and sell at the local bio-market as recycled-cotton-wool-makeup-removal-pads)
After:
fucksakes!! why don't the links work?

Abletoff: My Axiom is sitting on one of these monitor stands. I bought it at Office Depot and made three modifications to it.
I used brute force to bend the legs out so that it sits at my preferred angle. Second... I bolted some metal brackets I had lying around into the holes toward the front (this keeps the keyboard from sliding off the front of the stand). Lastly and obviously... I turned it around 180 degrees from what they are showing in that Office Depot picture.
That's about it. If you want more details, I can post up a photo of the stand without the controller on it. It works really well and is totally stable. Not a bad stand for only 20 bucks.
