How many hardware synths are in your studio?

Doing a bit of research.

Also, for those of you who answered >= 1, are you using your hardware with a software sequencer (such as live)? How do you connect all your gear up to it?

waldorf microQ keyboard edition
arp odissey (white panel, first serie)
TB-303 (needs to be fixed)
soon to come elektron monomachine

the microQ acts as masterkeyboard too, conected to the mpc where I record the midifiles. Live is slaved to the mpc, but sometimes I send the midifiles of the mpc into live for editing(i am a bad keaboard player).
ARP odissey has no midi/sync connection to the outer world only audio out so it's more trial and error until I get the notes right in time.

Just one synth here, the Virus TI. It's connected to my laptop by a single USB cable, tis beautiful in it's simplicity.

Just the one for me! Loving my Novation Xio. Thinking of getting a MicroKorg as well though.

Other than that I just use Arturia's MiniMoog V and some free ones! Mainly FabFilter One and ASynth.

I'm not at all dissatisfied with sw synths but I wouldn't be opposed to owning hw synths again. In the past I had a Wavestation, M1, Ensoniq VFX and Yamaha TG-77.

me too.

I have no hardware synths at all anymore (I voted zero), though I kind of regret selling my Andromeda A6.

Shit, the serial number was like one hundred and six or something. That was a big mistake.

What is the largest factor holding you back from buying hardware?

I think routing is a big factor for me right now. I don't have to mess with a lot of i/o. USB/FW straight out of a hw synth would be a big + for me. I'm not gigging so that would suit my purposes just fine.

That and a cloaking device so my wife doesn't freak!
