Please can someone suggest any good pair of active monitors?
Not over 300 Euros please.

by far, hands down, best in that price range are Tascam VL-X5. They will have those KRKs for breakfast.

Seriously amazing for that price. The only game in town for that price, actually.

if you can get the krk for 300 euro's definately snap them up

front end audio has a great review of the VL-X5 and actually puts them up against the KRKs. check it out here.

I have the KRK rockits RP5 I like them but When I get new monitors I'll probablly stick with KRK but got with the V2 series (probablly the 6's)

hey has anybody ever listened to a pair of TRUTH B2031A's seen some going for cheap, if you have what did you think of them?

the new small yamaha are amazing, realy well built, and super defined sound, usaly around 270 euros

I`m quite satisfied with a couple of ESI Near 05 experience. Cheap and
sounding fairly good.

I`m thinking of swapping these for a pair of NHT M00.
Anyone know these? Any good?

why KRK?

I don't understand why people like those KRK monitors. I think they sound dull, not transparant enough and they lack linearity. But don't let yourself be disturbed by my words.

Save up and buy a good pair of Tannoy's. It's worth waiting to get a good pair of monitors. I've learned all too often, you get what you pay for, including sub-par monitors.
