More macro controls?

Post by Beatport » Tue Jan 02, 2007 9:21 pm

It it possible to assign more than 8 macro controls to a single efx rack? I'm trying to set up my live set using a bunch of effects, but I'm running out of knobs :(

i actually need like 16 more!!

i need to do this without nesting one rack inside another as this won't work with my current setup.

I also have one single device that needs 10 different controls, so i'm wondering if there's any way to nest that and have a total of 16 seperate macros.

Quick question: Why won't nesting work for your setup?
I have yet to find a use that doesn't work this way....

because i have one reaktor instrument that i need to map more than 8 controls to. As far as I know, nesting won't work for that... or will it? Is there a way to make a nested device link directly to the outer layer device?

In all my testing you can only assign a macro control to a nested device and from that nested macro control you can assign to the outer level... but not directly.

Tried to do that the other day too. I don't believe you can. You can only sync the nested macros to the upper level macros- can't get to the nested parameters.

yeah, well that's also slightly moronic, isn't it? ;) I mean, that's what the simpler gui is for

i think that's his point - it's moronic - he's pointing out that i'm a moron because i might as well use my reaktor gui. right?

well... er... can you map all of simpler's adsrs to macros?

I'm up for the challenge if it's possible!
