Talk me into buying Live 6

I'm just re-getting into computer music. The last time I spent any time making music with a computer was about 18 years ago with a Commodore 64  . I now have an M-Audio USB keyboard (KS49e) that came with Live Lite.

Current plugs include WusikStation3, Rhino2 and Jamstix. I'm noodling around with Tracktion 2 (free bundled w/StealthPlug) and Live Lite. I have a few clicks and pops with Tracktion and a few instances of plugins running. but the Live Lite only lets me have one VST at a time so I can't tell how Live would fare. I guess I could put it into Demo Mode?

Anyway, help me justify the $300 to upgrade from Live Lite.

And, is Operator worth the price? How does it compare to Rhino2?

Thanks?

use demos of different applications and see which one you vibe with the most.

operator isn't the greatest soft synth but it's written to work in Live with very little overhead and it's very straightforward to use, I dig it.
