Thank you very much. Your paintings though, wow! Really beautiful stuff. To me, tha's real talent there. I wish I could paint like you and some of you other guys. You have a painting in the 8-bit show? I wish I would have gone to that when it opened. It's just down the street from me (I recently moved to South Pasadena.) I know a few people that were part of that as well!

Anyway, great work there on your paintings, I may just have to pick up one or two when I get a cash flow coming in again... (brilliant music and website as well. Dang you make me realize how much I suck!)

It's all a sham, though. I mostly just drink.
sounds like me

this is why I'm going back to Uni - some kind of vain attempt at validating my meaningless existance before I have to finally give up on it all and sell pies

heh he. I have never heard that one before.

I actually wanted to make a shirt at one point that said

"Yes I have seen Being John Malkovich"

I don't do marionnettes though I think Phillip Huber's work is pretty amazing.

I actually only just saw it last week! - one of those movies I have probably picked up every time I went to the video shop for the last 10 years but never actually hired (actually I think I even hired it a couple of times but didnt end up watching it for some reason) anyway, it's fresh in my mind!

I just finished my BA in Studio Arts and I am getting pretty serious about installation, painting, and then trying to do more sculpture. I just started getting serious about learning max/msp/Jitter, and I have been building a foundation in Lightwave as well.

Many of my digital ideas parallel around things I have also heared Machinate mention. One particular project one of my collaboraters and I are working on has the potential of being really sick. I'll ask him if I can share some of the footage of our last installation.

In the meantime, there are some little doodles on my myspace link to get a taste of some of my sketches.

Great thread idea. When I am not at work I will look into it more.

Later.
