Hide automation permanently?

Post by nodisko » Sat Jan 20, 2007 1:13 pm

I never use automation but the automation called "Mixer: Speaker on" keeps showing up. It's cluttering the overview...

Is there a way to turn off the automation view permanently?

cheers!

in the drop down box where it says "mixer", click it to select "none".

::hits staples, 'that was easy' button::

"next" time? save your template so automation is hidden. if it's in your project, you'll have to hide each track and then press save

for info, the automation shows up on a track when you click on a parameter (dry/wet, rate...); it's a clever and easy way to select the automation you want to edit instead of going thru the automation menu.

Actually I often hate that feature. Many things I just want to tweak and don't care about their arrangement envelopes. Usually I want to go back to the envelope I was working on before, and if I've touched something else in the meantime, it's gone :(

Hi,

Just a quick note: I believe that, in Live 6, if you choose 'show Automated Parameters only', both your problems would be solved.
