my considerations here: http://www.ableton.com/forum/viewtopic. ... highlight= are the same things...
I builded a live set using a rigid grid of tracks
all is ok!
my BCR is assigned etc etc
I have two groups of tracks with exactly the same schema:
2x [1drums + 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 (synth + sampler (everytime the same VSTi)) ]
a crossfader between and all is ok!
BUT with this kind of rigid configuration, you have to use always the same structure etc etc
I'd plan to use another things (see my post)
like reason etc because I like them
I'll extract all in wav
if my song has 7 parts loopable and 5 tracks => 7x5 wavs will be placed in 7 scene and 5 tracks audio
no problems of gaps, of cpu peaks, of instruments change & , the most important: no problem of using A LOT OF soft to make your music..
I have a lot of questions about that
is it enough on the stage? of course with that, no way for changing the A time of a ADSR enveloppe of the OSC1 of the nice VSTi you like ...
but ... is it really important in front of the things we win buy this methods...?!
