cant get any sound from midi keyboard

ok, here we go: this is a stupid question, but I need to know: I have connected my midi keyboard thorugh the audio card and it shows the signal in the audio or in the midi track, but I cant hear any sound at all. What can I do? please...need some support..cheerz :? :?
powerbook G4 1 GB, Live 5.01, Logic 7.01, firewire 410, battery 2.0, dx 100, mac book 2 G.

Make sure you click the "IN" button in the mixer section (next to "AUTO") in order to monitor the input.

in addition to what Justin said, check the manual section on this, it lays it out step by step. your being new to this, there could be any number of things wrong. It's likely that Justin has the right advice.

for monitor - IN is for recording, AUTO is for listening, OFF is off (handy for zero latency listening from another source).

leave the HELP box in Live's lower left corner open all the time and read it constantly, when I was learning, years ago, it was a huge help, I loved it.

if you bang it real hard with...say a hammer for instance..it will make this crashing sound..fo real yo!
