Akai mpd24 or Padkontrol?

Be very careful if you are buying the MPD. The rotary nobs don't work properly , and they jump all over the place. I took mine back to swap it and every MPD in the shop had the same problem. I got my money back

Yes I've noticed this on my MPD recently, I'm not sure if I can take mine back or not..
I would like to know if its a firmware issue, or hardware issue. :|

Two more cents here. Just got Padkontrol on ebay.

1. The action on the pads is pretty nice and intuitive
2. I absolutely love the roll feature on the X-Y pad. This is something that would be very hard to setup with another controller using faders.
3. It's very light
