Starting Feb 1st 2007 we see in our first remix competition of the year. We have the great pleasure of working with GPS Recordings, the label behind the one and only Dr. Rubberfunk!
To coincide with the release of Dr. Rubberfunk's superb new 12" "Taking Over" we're giving you the opportunity to remix the title track. Seeing as Ashley Beedle's had a crack at the track on the 12" we feel it's only fair you do too! Whilst that should be motivation enough for any producer worth his salt, it gets better.
Judging this months competition is a selection of superstar judges including The Stereo MCs, The Unabombers, Wajeed from The Platinum Pied Pipers / Bling 47 and of course, Rubberfunk himself.
After being declared best remix by our esteemed panel of judges the winner will receive the entire Dr Rubberfunk back catalogue (including the early hard to find releases and some Dr Rubberfunk remixes) plus a release of the winning mix on GPS Recordings!
The runner up will also receive the back cat. and all top entries will receive feedback from the superstar judging panel.

The standard of remixes thus far has been exceptional, a real testement to the talent out there.
If you’ve been working on a remix but don’t feel you’ll get done all you need to in time it doesn’t matter. You’ve got to be in it to win it, right?
