I'm still a bit new to Live, so please let me know if I just haven't discovered any of these yet.
1. MIDI out / audio in loop module for hardware synths. (!!!)
2. Audio out / audio in loop module for outboard effects. (!!!)
3. Track folders
4. Scene folders
5. Support multiple time signatures.
6. Multiple envelopes (superimposed or in lanes)
7. Record automation to session
8. Easy sequencing of controller-to-track focus (for live use)
9. MIDI routing
10. Scripting language

Introducing - RAMPER! Live's integrated LFO device, it has curves, ramps, and saws!!!! Thats right, it's amazing, and only $300!Meef Chaloin wrote:bloody better not, that would be the ultimate, having to pay for a device that doesn't even make a soundb0unce wrote:
an integrated lfo module/device - I have a feeling they'd charge extra for that
Plus, when Ableton gets off their asses long enough to implement internal midi controls, you will be able to use it.

I'd love an lfo plugin, and I would hate for it to be plain old midi. Let's go crazy and do something 8, 9, 10, hell, even 12-bit resolution. Midi sux.pulsoc wrote:Introducing - RAMPER! And meef, have you seen the price-tag on Max? Max on its own is silent as the depths of space.
mbp 2.66, osx 10.6.8, 8GB ram.
no one suggested it should be midi, we said integrated....but sure, I think it should spit midi too, obviously enough to be compatable with all those midi instruments.... OSC comes second imoMachinate wrote:I'd love an lfo plugin, and I would hate for it to be plain old midi. Let's go crazy and do something 8, 9, 10, hell, even 12-bit resolution.
