Re: ot: i love this messageboard (a silly pic thread)
Geez, it must really be enjoyable to be a member of this group. I wouldn't understand. I just spent $750 on Ableton Live 9 Suite, but it doesn't fucking run. I get the well known "side-by-side configuration is incorrect" message, I've downloaded the supposed fix: Microsoft visual C++ 2008 SPI. And I might as well have farted into my computer because Windows 7 Pro practically laughed at me for trying something so trivial.
I repeat, it must be pretty nice to actually use the software that you saved up $750 for. Maybe next time I'll spend the money on a software developer that actually gives two shits about it's users.

How much you want to sell that license for, buddy? I'll give you 200 U.S. dollars.

Live 9 runs fine on both of my Macs, and there are plenty of Windows users who can get Live to work. So perhaps it's your OS/Hardware configuration you should be blaming rather than Ableton?feyd313 wrote:Geez, it must really be enjoyable to be a member of this group. I wouldn't understand. Live should run on any hardware configuration and definitely on Windows, right...?artpunk wrote:Live 9 runs fine on both of my Macs, and there are plenty of Windows users who can get Live to work. So perhaps it's your OS/Hardware configuration you should be blaming rather than Ableton?
Maybe a few more iterations with the support team can fix the issue.
But why did he have to hijack this thread? Let's instead collect silly images again...

Sure wish I would have known in 2007 that it only gets worse on the Internet from there
