Tried it out a few weeks ago, worked well for me. Fun to use, good results, I'd definitely consider buying it, especially for $10!

Worth geting or is it just re-hashing beatrepeat etc.

And by multi platform you mean
"Mac OS X 10.3.9 or greater"

Hi everyone,
I'm the author of Major Malfunction - re: multiplatform, I have decided to go ahead and port to Windows (it's actually almost all done, pretty easy within the Max/MSP environment). Originally I wasn't going to as I thought that there wouldn't be demand considering that dBlue's Glitch is out there, but I've gotten quite a number of requests anyhow...
I've decided to hold off on releasing it though until I finish up a few more enhancements that will get incorporated into it, and then both the new Mac and PC versions will be released together.
Best,
Dan

Oh yeah - sorry no sound samples yet, just haven't gotten around to it yet, as frankly I'm focused on the Windows port, and on enhancing it even further...
There *is* a free demo though, so go ahead and download that and give it a whirl yourself if you're interested...

Ok so theres no point buying the OSX until you re-release it with the 'enhancements'?

The update will be free for existing owners, so no reason to delay purchasing if you like the way it is now...

Excellent news, I'm running Windows, so I am looking forward to this.
I have one question, though. I've heard from numerous people that this plugin was basically a mac version of dBlue's Glitch. Is this true? It seems to me that it was originally based on it, but may have additions or changes. I won't want to buy it if there's too much overlap with Glitch, so can you clarify how the two are different?
Thanks a lot!
