Sorry to go off topic but one of the Andy Mckee videos he uses a capo that does its' thing on 4 strings leaving the other 2 open. This looks pretty interesting, does anybody know who makes them?

go to thomann.de and search for capo,
3 strings:
http://www.thomann.de/de/kyser_short_cut_3_capo.htm
1 string
http://www.thomann.de/de/shubb_capo_addition_short.htm
you might try googling for shubb, kyser, dunlop capos
I wouldnt mind a PM if you find a capo that allows for a non-consecutive group of strings to be locked.

I just looked at Shubb and they have two models.
I also looked at wikipedia and found a like to this web site http://www.thirdhandcapo.com/orders.html
They have a capo that allows clamping of any combination
