I own max/msp, but I've never got beyond chapter 14 in the manual! I always get that far (I've tried about five times now), then something comes up and lose track and forget everything.

I think this is a great partnership, although personally I'm not interested in programming patches with max/msp.

But integrate pluggo (or something similar) into Live and I'm right there...

alright, so this was announced today, but it doesn't mean the agreement was done last week-end.
actually there is no date written.

so the question is: will it make it into L7?

This quote says it all:

"One of the things we've come to appreciate about Live," says Zicarelli, "is that its ease of use comes out of incredible attention to detail. Ableton works very hard to make it seem as if the software just works. That has been very inspiring to try to apply to our own product development."

The Lemur really could be involved… Remember Robert asking about how DJs use the Lemur all out-of-the-blue a while back?

I want it to be a whole new thing...

With a nice classic ambiguous name, like Live or Max...
