Looks like they would rather eat their own shit than have a guy like Sir Colbert force feed it to them.

Colbert made them look far worse than they could do on their own by "rapping"...

FUCKING PIECES OF SHIT.

Yeah, BOYEEEEE!

This shit makes me embarassed to be an American. While a war is being waged, refugees still are kept from moving back to NO, the economy in shambles and getting worse by the day, our leaders are over here getting wasted at an unimportant MEDIA correspondants dinner and acting like complete idiots. It's no wonder why the rest of the world can only sit back and laugh at our lazy, ignorant asses.

Ah saturday... A new Bill Maher ep :D
I thought Stewart and Colbert where hardcore. But Maher is like the soft cream before you get to the Dennis Miller bit.

Hey, I step over homeless people all the time on my way to the dance club at night in pioneer square to hear some dj, dj.

every wednesday night I have a laugh at my television while people in Darfur are dying

I play dominoes with my friends and listen to gangsta rap while innocent people sit in jails un accused and held against their will

I'm sitting on a music message board while my grades are in the crapper

does any of this mean I don't care, no - it means I'm living my life

You guys do know they do this MEDIA EVENT every year for the press right? It's not like they just decided, "oh hey, the worlds in turmoil lets throw a party" and from what I saw it looked like a party...and they made good fun of themselves for all their fuck ups over the last year

Bush even made fun of himself

"A year ago my approval rating was in the 30s, my nominee for the Supreme Court had just withdrawn, and my vice president had shot someone," President Bush said Wednesday night during the annual gathering.

"Ah," he said, "those were the good ol' days."

they all did

I worry more about people who can't laugh or forgive themselves at / for their own mistakes ;)

On a lighter note

I have that Allen Jackon song stuck in my head

Field Reporter
...Even country singer Alan Jackson has
shown up with a song he has written
about the ladder. Alan Jackson is,
of course, the man who wrote the song,
"Where Were You When the World Stopped
Turning," about the tragedies on September
11. And now he's here once again to
capitalize on people's emotions. Let's
listen in.

ALAN JACKSON
Where were you when they built the ladder
to heaven?

Did it make you feel like cryin', or did you think it was kind
of gay?

TOWNSMAN
What a beautiful song.

ALAN JACKSON
Well I, for one, believe in the ladder
to heaven.

Oh yeah yeah yeah. 9-11 [the townsfolk begin to cry]

I said 9-11, 9-11, 9-11, Ni-hi, hi-hine___

Eleven. [the song ends]

Thank you! I have a new CD out with all my 9-11 songs for sale
right here!

Alan Jackson is a tool.

Where the fuck is Suge Knight when you need him?

Nothing will ever touch Colbert's speach last year, I still watch that from time to time.
