I would say the legislation that actually makes the corporation a being with it's own rights, vs an organization that exists solely to serve the public good (which is laughable in so many cases these days).

nice radialson... the spork is indeed horrible. although, i have found that certain soups are better enjoyed using them.

i'm gonna say, the timeframe would be since the beginning of the 20th century. so that may narrow your choices down a little... or not.
