5, 6 + 6.05... 7

so I am wondering if I should delete my Ableton 5 now.. when I want to throw in 6.0.5?

when I upgraded from 5.0.2 to 6 it kept my 5 folder and asked me if I wanted to update my Live 5 Library... and I said Yes unknowingly... so now my Live 5 doesn't work properly and I don't use it anymore because I have sampler with 6
will this also happen when I upgrade to 6.0.5? will my live 6 be screwedup?

? I don't know.....

but, in general (other than 6.01 which I KICK MYSELF for everyday.....) I keep 2 or 3 "lives" on my system all the time.

Currnetly, 5.2.2, 6.0.3, 6.0.5, and whatever the last beta was..........the point being I do not ever have ONE live at once......not a good idea to have just one these days...........

what do you mean by that?

do you have two Ableton Live running simultaneously? can you copy audiofiles between them?

I have all of those able to launch at any time.

I don't know (have never tried) to launch more than one at a time........but "files" are only forward compatible TTBOMN..........unless someoen else can elaborate...........?
