What are your favorite (stable!) EFFECTS plugs?

Post by bioflava » Sat Jan 03, 2004 2:05 am

Hello fellow Liver's,

I'm interested to hear what 3rd-party plug-ins people have used that sound good, are stable, and don't hog too much processor power (I'm using an OSX 10.3 550 mhz G4 TiBook) .

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

-bioflava

Blockfish.
CamelPhatFree.

And that's all.

Errr.

I'm not really the one you should be talking to!!
Suit #1: I mean, have you got any insight as to why a bright boy like this would jeopardize the lives of millions?
Suit #2: No, sir, he says he does this sort of thing for fun.

Transverb is mental:

And it has a low CPU demand...

supatrigga
phutboy slim>>>didnt work in 3.0 but works again in 3.01 yaaaay, my absolute favourite effect for going mental on the controller with that + some cross fader shinanagins.
ohmforce predatohm
buffer override>>>makes some top sounds, even better when used with phutboy slim

mda combo is essential.
it can easily process a mono sample into stereo
and warm or nasty it up

Crazy Ivan is pretty damn...... crazy. I had about four hours of fun with that thing this evening. Have not quite figured out how to tame it yet. I usually assign my controller to the randomizer and the wet dry knob and tweek those, add a pingpong on send 1 and supatrigga on send 2! I swear it started talking to me........

Quad Frohmage is great in OSX but unstable in 9

Amplitube won't replace a real amp but works well in OS9 while Amplitube Live standalond sucks on OSX because it simply won't work at all.

Hmmmmm.... don't use much more. Lounge Lizard is cool to and Tassman seems to rock.
