Is it possbile to automate the solo buttons?

on an individual channel just to bring out arts of the loop during the hook with a solo.
is it possible to automate solo buttons?

I just tried it, I don't think you can do it. The way I would do it would be to automate the track activators of all the tracks you wanted to turn off. Hopefully you don't have 35 tracks to deactivate.

I'm at work, so no manual here, but isn't it F1-F10 or 1-9... or something close to that?

i dunno yet ima try later at home, cant right now either.
and unfortunately to the post above it is like 30 sumthin tracks.

Solo Automation is on wishlist - would like to be able to fade into and out from solo too.

I remember this being mentioned somewhere before and the answer from Ableton was that it'd involve a major rewrite of the engine in order to support this. That was at least two versions ago though
