Best Compression for Techno
I want to make a compression setting for all of my techno whole catalog. I have it right now at the below:
ratio 2.5:1
thresh -22
attack: 17000ms
release: 0
output gain: 23
So, I want to change it for analog kicks drum and a snare maybe the whole catalog. Should I put the ratio back to zero for that? What about wood panels on my minimoog? should I be taking them aside for a longer release analog feeling? I bought the minimoog brand new in the box last month, but it has gone out of tune. So I will need to recompress it anyways.

Stay on your medication... or maybe try another.

You're becoming a cliché

Please vote! Live 10's "multi" clip editing should allow selection+editing of multiple clips in one action:

I'd say only if those kicks and snares have been composed on black keys or accompany notes made with black keys... Hope this makes sense...
Please note for those extreme settings it would be wise to use this model of compressor...

Attack should be set at: 6:15am
Release should be set at: 4:20pm
Here is an example of very bad compression. Believe it or not this song
is by Neil Young recorded at Massey hall in 1971. Be careful.

I would go to the music shop and buy the most expensive thing you can.
Then compress your tracks before each gig.
Ableton is good for this. and so is logic.
