I saw that on VH1 about a month ago and since then i've been jamming that album.

Especially liked the tape loop of the "money" intro.....how old school is that.

Also enjoyed hearing all those parts solo'ed.It's hard to believe how incredibly good that album really is and the work put into it.

Thanks for the link now i'll be watch the damn thing more!!!

very good documentary, as you say hearign the solod parts and the techniques and reasons for things on the album are a real insight into their creative process. 8)

The lunatic is in the hall
The lunatics are in my hall
The paper holds their folded faces to the floor
And every day the paper boy brings more

Kinda like OT threads here.

Actually, all those "classic album" shows are really great.....even if you don't like the band/artist, they are worth checking out

One thing though......they all make me realize just how "beneath" them I am......

DSOTM is an awe inspiring peice of musicality. it is one of my great influences. I love the synth arpegiators they use in that doc. I watched it in Spanish and it was still pretty cool. http://www.soundclick.com/util/getplaye ... 11501&q=hi

Just gotta bump this thread....watched last night....awesome doc!

I love the part where Gilmour is describing them figuring out the synth part to "On the Run"....basically how 90% of techno synth parts are made ;)

Interesting how they considered mixing a performance.
