Equipment picking up radio signals - is this normal?
Equipment picking up radio signals - is this normal?
I'm listening to some Asian-language radio station through my headphones, which are connected to my audio interface, and not to a radio. Is this kind of signal bleed normal?
If I wanted to stop this from happening, how would I go about it?

Depending on where you live, yes thats normal. You need Ferrite Beads to make it stop.

I don't think that's it...I honestly think it's my headphones that are picking up the signal because it's only when I am sitting in a specific spot that I get the radio signal. Those fermite beads are apparently super cheap so I'll try clamping on on, and see what happens.underhill wrote:Is there a power strip there in the chain? Those things will do it. I had that issue a long time ago, and switching from a power strip to a power conditioner made it go away.
It would actually be kind of cool if I could record what I'm hearing...
