fruity live audio engine

I have two questions: I'm new to the whole rewire technology, and was curious if I use fruity rewired to ableton for vsti hosting/drum programming will it use abletons audio engine?
I usually use samplitude, but I want the rewire capability of fruity. I have some 24bit samples to mess around with, but I'm worried that fruity will have a negative effect on the quality? Or is it entirely dependent on the sample/audio source? thanks for any help.

not quite understanding your question, but I use FLRW and Live a lot with FL rewired into the master, Live. FL seems to want to be at 16 bit, 44.1--if I have live open at 24/48, then open FL, a box appears strongly suggesting I make it back to 16/44.1. I have obeyed this rule, but could try to make both 24/48 if you want me to test.
