Upgrades and new versions:

I guess the main issue is what do we have to pay for and what do we get for free? (provided we own a license to Live N)

If I paid for Live 6 (version 6.0.1), I expect to get Live 6.0.5 and 6.0.7 for free. I would appreciate getting not 0 versions for free to (6.1 if it ever comes up, 6.2 etc) basically everything starting with 6.something

For v7, I'd expect to pay the upgrade fee - not the full price.

So it is important that minor bug fixes / improvements etc do not get the full "new version" treatment (v7), but are just updates within the Live 6 family

How do you reckon that? Live 20 is due around january 2021.
You're only off by about a decade :D

By then Live is a virtual music studio you access from your holodeck.
You'll play your music back on your Ipod Embryo.

Live 6 was officially announced until July 14th last year.

So, I don't think we will hear anything before July.

I'm perfectly happy with Live 6!!!!!!!!!!
