whats a smaller more compact controller than UC33?
whats a smaller more compact controller than UC33?
UC33 is a little bulky for me. i'm getting sick of balancing it on the coffin, or the tables.
anyone got any suggestions for smaller more compact controller?
i know the trade off is buttons/sliders vs space.

I don't know if the issue was resolved, but I hear that the device would crash (ie: go nuts) if you manipulated more than 1 parameter at once.dm_hawk wrote:what's up with the CS32? aren't they discontinued and unsupported? do they play nice with Live?m:o wrote:Really portable and versatile - but a no go if you have fingers like bratwürstl

That would it make kind of useless, thought. Haven't know about that.dCross wrote:I don't know if the issue was resolved, but I hear that the device would crash (ie: go nuts) if you manipulated more than 1 parameter at once.dm_hawk wrote:what's up with the CS32? aren't they discontinued and unsupported? do they play nice with Live?m:o wrote:Really portable and versatile - but a no go if you have fingers like bratwürstl

I could certainly be mistaken. Here's one of the threads that made me think so: http://www.ableton.com/forum/viewtopic. ... light=cs32m:o wrote:That would it make kind of useless, thought. those faderfoxes look decent. they might be a winner
the JL cooper thingy - great in a nice controller env, but not worth a sh*t in a dark club in a live performance environment.
faderfoxes aren't cheap, but they might do a better job.
no usb though - which prob is more stable, but that means you need a MIDI interface on your laptop (so you're back to more cables/boxes to carry...such as the MOTU midi, or MidiSport boxes)
maybe uc33 is still the simplest?

The faerfox LV1, LV2 & LC2 are the most stable and most ideal midi controllers for Ableton Live. Sturdy, durable, made form good strong components, insanely well thought out.
Better if you buy 2 though.
the same.
