NEW IMAC? brushed aluminum/wireless redesign?
Could it be... a wireless "desktop" Imac?

MacHead1: DUDE! Why did you bring your Cinema Display with you to the park?
MacHead2: I couldn't think of anything else to prop up on this table that magically appeared next to this tree.
What is that? A .38?
38, 39, whatever it takes.

Yup. Looks like a display... but on the beach, at the park?
B0unce- grain of salt taken. I wasn't sure why Apple would tease
customers with an Apple display on a beach or park, ya know? I was thinking -internal battery for a display, or a battery powered Imac.
We should know by Monday I suppose.
There are rumors of a redesign- brushed aluminum Imac.. not too far fetched- many complaints about the ugly chin of the current Imac, along with the cheap white plastic look. I think the Apple display would make for a much sleeker model Imac... guess we will see soon.

what you should be looking at is figuring out the SIZE of that thing. the rumor is there is a new silver iMac coming that will match the cinema displays HOWEVER, it is said that the new cinema display will be moving to 24" and replacing the current 23". so if that thing is 24" then it is DEFINITELY........ either the new iMac or the new cinema display. good luck.

From what I have read on thinksecret. There will be both a 20" and 24" iMac, brushed aluminum, and a massive redesign. It could possibly look like what is pictured here. I mean, if it is designed around the same motherboard, chipset, and other things as the MBpro, it would make sense that they could get it in even smaller a design than the present iMac. The only thing I would be concerned about at that point would be cooling.....tjwett wrote:what you should be looking at is figuring out the SIZE of that thing. the rumor is there is a new silver iMac coming that will match the cinema displays HOWEVER, it is said that the new cinema display will be moving to 24" and replacing the current 23". so if that thing is 24" then it is DEFINITELY........ either the new iMac or the new cinema display. good luck.
Looks promising. But I am going to love my Dell 20" widescreen monitor, when I get it set up with my Macbook....
