I present here our Master Output Plugin, goes on the master output track within ableton. Gives you an at a glace view of your lighting setup and access to device on/off button and DMX Crossfader.

Were currently busy creating our new AVA Media Codec, which is 100% backward compatable with Vorbis Audio codec and Theora video codec so playback works in majority of existing media players.

Were introducing a standard DMX mapping for lighting outlined below. The reason for this is, if anyone wishes to release an AVA Track there want it to be able to be played on as many systems as possible so a standard is needed just as a PC/MAC or DVD player has 2/3/5 or 7 speakers. This standard mapping is optional so can also map anyway the producer wishes to create custom AVA Tracks.

Different lasers come with different predefined patterns, some laser will allow us to create custom paterns using abletons envelopes and our sound to light features.

Laser patterns and parameters (and all DMX fixture parameters) can easily be controlled with Live CC clips through a hardware MIDI>DMX converter with no additional software/plug-ins, too.

Using virtual MIDI buses, dummy clips, follow actions, and MIDI effects makes for an incredibly powerful system. Dragging & dropping Live lighting clips from Live's browser makes it easy to quickly create custom lighting sequences.

And if you're doing video, use the same CC clips to control video parameters to easily sync lighting to video.

Do you work on commision for MIDI>DMX.com?

Hambone1, theres a lot more to lighting than manually setting your lighting sequences, ill show a video in a few days of our output plugin using just sound-to-light. Makes the show a lot more interesting and not look like an arcade machine.

Can't do crossfading with midi, cant change your lamp levels using a knob just with midi(what do you do if your set you have created is too bright for your venue?), cant change lamp release times using just a knob with midi, and a lot more you can't do too. No sound to light for your lasers!!

Can't save your work either, can't sell/share your show.

Our output plugin can save you £££ in a single week!. Think about this, you own a top nightclub with huge light bulbs costing more than £10 each and they only lasts 50 hours a time. so thats £0.20 an hour cost per bulb times that by 40 bulbs is £8.00 an hour running cost. If your spending a week preparing a show your spend about 20 - 40 hours so that's £8.00 * 40 hours = £320 saving because you never had to switch your lighting on while creating you show.

Don't worry, most bulbs don't cost £10 each and last only 50 hours, mine cost £6.00 each and last 500 hours! And the new LED type lamps are cheap as chips and last 100,000 hours!!

Anyway hambone1 how much does a midi>dmx converter cost? We havent even said how much we will be charging...
