I just noticed your signature, seems like you became the victim of it
"New Plugin For Ableton! Lighting + Video In development"
Looks like through the months the coma from the title was gone and maybe it will never become
"New Plugin For Ableton! Lighting + Video"
and will stay "ïn development" for eternity
Still best of luck from aviRay

I get more enjoyment out of this thread than perhaps any other.

There's several great stories about apps that were being developed over the years, that turned out to be nothing more than exercises in Photoshop, and those definitely come to mind here....

For what it's worth, the effects look horrid. Like first gen Avid...

The part I can't understand is that a simple lighting VST is what could be selling now, yet it's ignored.

The video effects look cheap and nasty, and there are so many fantastic VJ apps out there already that work brilliantly with Live.

Show me some scrernshots, just remember im consentrating on the core of the app, ive only came up with a few effects and only one filter, theres more to come. im including a sdk development kit some ANYTHING is possible!!

no other app can respond to any audio track or vst plugin. theres only one timeline to deal with, one have to save one file too.

I am "THE THIRD RECORDING audio, video and now lighting..." beat that!!

Your having a laugth!!

sending midi notes to arkaos/resolume is an amature thing!! theres no audio, its only half the picture

And if anyone is complaining my project is taking too long, its about 9 or so months, resolume 3 has taken a year, give me a chance for just a little while more...

I don't need to 'beat that'. I'm not a software developer. I've been doing audio/video/lighting in Live for three years now. I'd hardly call it amateur. And it's involves a LOT more than simply sending MIDI notes to Arkaos.

Don't get me wrong - your software has great potential! It just seems to be surrounded by marketing incompetence.

I invented the concept of recording lighting about 8 years ago in a club called cafe blue in bristol, 3 years aint nothing too me. :D

Not to piss on your parade, but I sequenced all of the lighting in Cubase in a band I was in back in 1994.

The lighting sequences WERE recorded in Cubase. It was nothing new, even back in 1994.
