laptop stands?

Post by mr ed » Sat Sep 08, 2007 12:49 am

i used to have a vaio, but over the summer i bought a mac.

i've noticed that when i've been djing with it, it gets pretty hot underneath. my vaio used to sit quite high off the surface, but the little feet on the mac dont really let any air get underneath.

is it a good idea to put something under it to lift it up a bit? anyone got any good ideas about what to use or things u can buy to do it? i dont really fancy buying one of those massive stand/fan things!

Targus makes a neat "Targus Cooling Podium Coolpad" - I bought it at an Office Depot in Orlando, it's really good for generally tilting stuff, plus it rotates.

I use a Knoll Lapjack. By far the best laptop stand.

Once I get my camera back I'll upload some pics. It's incredible isex.
