can MIDI CC values be transformed into Note Numbers, osx?

is this possible, are there any apps for osx that can do this?

have MIDI CC values transform into Note Number so that for example

CC XX Value 1 = MIDI Note on 1
CC XX Value 127 = MIDI Note on 127

I've got something coming in a few weeks... maybe MidiPipe and Applescript until then? I don't think there's anything right now that won't require programming, graphical or otherwise...

Can you do this in MidiPipe without using Applescript? I don't really understand how the message factory works, but it doesn't seem like you can...

midipipe didn't seem to work at all and didn't pass on any messages to live???, got Plogue Bidule to kind off work, need to read up on it. look forward to trying out yours mr Roberts.

This old thread interests me, because I am trying to do the opposite--keyboard note # to CC value. Anyone get this to work with MIDIpipe? I am not sure what tools need to go in the pipe to do this.

How come? You know you can use a keyboard range to do midi mapping in Live, right?

Plogue is def the way to go.. use the Message Remapper and it works a treat for this kind of thing..

With pure data and iac driver it's very simple to achieve this kind of operation... See midi objects help files.
