just cracked the display of my powerbook
knocked the computer off the edge of the bed. got a small spiderweb crack on the display now. fucking sucks.
is this crack gonna get worse fast or should I expect it to stay the same for while? or am I gonna be without visual without a few days?

It was as if someone shook up a 6 foot can of blood soda and suddenly popped the top.

sorry for your accident

Check your household insurance policy, it might be covered. I spilt coffee in my Sony Vaio and claimed on the insurance. Unfortunately it was "beyond economic repair"... so they replaced it with a brand new model ... *result* !!!

That's a drag man, bummer. I am sure it hurts like hell. Any chance you might get some funding, even partial, via your employer?Johnisfaster wrote:oh theres no way I'll repair it, I know that would be dumb for this out of date machine. but I just bought a quadcore for home so I don't know if I can convince my lady to be down with me buying a lappy now too...
