I remember a year or 2 ago, M-Audio had some info on a prototype assignable touch controller, not a screen but an assignable tactile thing. Looked pretty interesting. Based on some NASA technology apparenty. Ended up as vapourware tho..

thats the one. looking at it now, after playing a live set for that last couple of years with 2 BCR-2000's and a faderfox.... I think real old skool style controllers are better. Real, physical, tangible, tactile, spacial feedback etc...
