this is nothing but racist propaganda, and has no place here. I hope you think hard before posting something like this again. I found this incredibly offensive, and its likely that it comes from some white power group.
If it was a real incident, then it would have a reference, or some means of checking the story. as it is, it is a piece of nasty work designed to demonise one group of people.
not only that, its inaccurate, and compares vaguely events of WW2, with those of Iraq. these things are completely unrelated.
seriously, take your hate shit somewhere else you idiot, its a music board.
i couldn't agree more...
What kind of a reaction were you tryin to fuel with this shit!?!?!

A Muslim woman dressed in a Burkha (A black gown & face mask) was standing with her shopping in a queue at the checkout.
When it was her turn to be served, and as she reached the cashier, a massive explosion rocked the building and the woman was pinned under a huge slab of fallen concrete. As she lay bleeding to death with a shattered leg, severe burns. and massive internal injuries, she thought to herself about the history of Western involvement in the Middle East, about how England's imperialism had led to the establishment of Iraq as an artificial state with no chance for stability, about England's pilfering of petroleum in the Middle East and how that relates to the current situation with Iran, and how England provided the most material and moral support for the unjustifiable war which had ripped her family apart, and taken the lives of her children and parents, and was now claiming her life, she couldn't help but think that perhaps life had been better before the invasion, for then she only suffered the tyranny of Saddam, whereas now she suffers the faceless tyranny of all-out guerilla war, occupation, insurgency, and total collapse of a country into chaos, misery, and death.

+1 on all of that. I'm sure by now it's obvious that it was incredibly offensive and unnecessary. I'm proud of my country too (sometimes) but there's other ways to demonstrate it...adventurepants_ wrote:girl:
ive also realised you dont understand what youre asking people to circulate. I thought at first that you understood it and its purpose fully, and thats why i got so annoyed so quickly and accused you of various things.
I realise now that you thought it was harmless, but I hope you can see how it would be very offensive to some people.
I hope he's not consciously posting this up as hate-propogation but even if not it's difficult to justify it as innocent... people have some responsibility for what they write. Impressionable young minds frequent these forums and I should know: I'm one of them! </scold>

As a former resident of SE17 I'd like to speak up in their defence: they'd kill any old man round there, dont matter if he's black, white, lemon or Burgundythe girl next door wrote: So tell me this why does and old man who fought for his country get Beaten up or killed by "foreigners" because he walks into a wrong part of town in ENGLAND..

(actually white "Chavs", who are a most especially British breed would probably do more damage than any foreigner, that;s why in the 18th century the upper classes shipped them off to Australia where they became "Bogans" - not to mention also "Foreigners"!)

My sentiments exactly. I thought we were the only country with ignorant redneck racists. I hate to say it, but I'm glad to know we aren't alone.

I'd have to disagree with you there. I think it's the people who feel the have to vote for a "real contender" that ensure the Bush's and Clinton's are continuously elected. This keeps people in the mindset that there are only 2 parties, and one of two choices in an election.forge wrote:that's true, but sadly as it tends to be the more 'liberal' who see it that way and dont vote for a real contender it tends to mean the worst of the evils like Bush get voted inMachinesworking wrote: People who fall for things like right and left wing, liberal VS conservative etc. are playing into their game.
A lot of people will say "I really liked so and so but I voted for such and such because I was afraid the other guy was going to win. Didn't want to waste my vote"
I hear it a lot.
I'd argue that wasting a vote would actually be to no vote for the candidate who most accurately represents your ideas, but instead voting for the one you "kind of" like because they are the "lesser of two evils".
See what I'm saying? A vote that is not truly your conscience is a wasted vote. People in America need to realize there is more than two choices.
I'm honestly not sure how much it would matter at this point. But it doesn't change the principles.
I used to fall for that "Democrats are the lesser of two evils" stuff as well. I would definitely agree that this bunch is the worst of the worst, but nothing is going to change under a Democratic administration.
I used to really fall for that, but I personally woke up last summer when the Israelis pulverized Lebanon with cluster munitions and the Democrats voted nearly unanimously on a resolution declaring their "full support" Innocent people on both sides, mainly Arabs but Jews as well died daily while Dems and Repubs alike gave the wink and so called "liberal democratic" groups such as MoveOn.org remained shamefully silent.
Fuck them man.
This mess we have with corporate media consolidation here? Arguably one of the most damaging blows to American society in recent history. The Telecommunications act of 1996 paved the way for that. Which President's signature do you think was on that bill? Here's a hint, it wasn't a republican.
Both of the main parties are so tied down to special interest groups and pacs and money that they are completely ineffectual at serving the people they were actually elected to serve. I personally feel the damage is irreparable, nothing will change until both of these parties are voted into history.
I'm just saying man. These Democrats aren't clean either. Not even close. People should really just drop all that "wasting a vote" nonsense and vote for their candidate, whether they are a republican, democrat, green, socialist, communist, libertarian - it doesn't matter.
Ignorance and stupidity are universal characteristics of the human condition.smutek wrote:+10000corygilbert wrote:Nice to know the English have racist, half informed jerks too.

I'm quite certain there's PLENTY of racist bullshit hate-fueling propoganda going around everywhere, whether it's the USA, Great Britain or the Middle East. We like to taunt, ridicule and fight because most of us are ignorant, self-centered little simpletons who can't be bothered to think for ourselves.
It just sucks that our current figurehead is a posterchild for such behavior...
