"Ableton Live 7 introduces SmartPriming, a new resource-saving sample playback technology allowing users of large sample libraries, such as Ableton's Orchestral Strings, to use many instruments in their compositions."

Why would they give us this and not give us track groups/folders with which to organize it?

I've been deciding whether or not to buy Logic, this announcement just helped me make up my mind.

other than multiple lanes of automation, are there any other improvements to the arrange window? e.g. alias clips or the ability to have clips in the arrangement update when their counterparts in the session view are edited?
