Go through that SOS article/tutorial about Patchmix. It can be confusing and is either your best friend or worst enemy. My tip - make your own presets for different purposes. I have minimal, digital transfer, DJ, recording,instrumental, electronic etc, etc
Then instead of default you can always reset to your fav. The easiest way to do them take some factory presets and add or delete.
