Does anyone have a Live 7 serial number?

I am dying to test Live 7 and I'm sure we're all looking for a serial number. I already downloaded the program. Do I have to download it again once I get the serial number? I am trying to open the program but it gets stuck. I don't really understand Abletons Beta testing system and who gets serial numbers. It seems if you're not on your computer every 5 minutes, you won't get a serial number. Do I just wait until it's open to the public? I don't see what the purpose of limiting the amount of serial numbers since the software expires anyways. Does anyone have one?

you'll need both luck and patience to get one.

just wait and check regularly the forums, or ask some ppl from the forum to warn you if anything happens. make yourself known by helping other ppl, they will help you in return.

no need to download the program if you don't have a serial though.

so where do we get a serial? I tried my live 6 serial but that doesnt work?!

argh this is infuriating

EDIT: got a quick reply from support...no serials left. wtf is the point of letting people download a beta but not letting them have a serial?

well, i guess for a beta stage it's just too much work to add a script to the website which checks if you are one of the testers by checking the serials in your account.
Btw every announcement for a beta version says if the circle was extended or not, so just wait until it will be extended next week and go for a serial first b4 downloading.

Let me move that discussion to the General forum, as it is irrelevent concerning Live 7 bug hunting.

Indeed, we do limit the amount of beta testers as to handle better the beta testing phase. We'll increase the circle later.
