nah. theres no point. its all over for me. we beat the aussies and the french within 7 days of each other. it doesnt get much better than that. its shame the germans dont play rugby. the lads could come home now with pride.
ps: heres hoping they do wiin it and they get knighthoods - that really pisses the aussies down here that the cricket team got knighted for the ashes win.

Too true, although most of the Aussies I know are going for England because the saffas are terrible winners! Even Mortlock has said us Poms (or is it Phoms?) have played a good game. SA are a good team, but if we rattle their cages I think we could do it. Shame we have to get up at 4.59am to watch it but there we go...nuperspective wrote:nah. theres no point. its all over for me. we beat the aussies and the french within 7 days of each other. it doesnt get much better than that. its shame the germans dont play rugby. the lads could come home now with pride.

South Africa has gone nuts with unbridled patriotism. I borrowed a projector from work, and we're stocked with beer, biltong, and the lyrics to the national anthem. The first half of the anthem is in Zulu, and I can only ever remember the first line.the girl next door wrote:Will you be watching it tonite??
