play e.g. from the middle of long unwarped sample?

hi forum

i recently recorded a lot of guitar. now i want to listen to it!
is there any way that i can play from say the middle and then skip and play from somewhere close to the end of a file, going through the recordings fast a listen a little here and there?

the only way i found is using the arrow which means that next time the file will be played from where i left it and not from the start of the file..
