Hey New Yorkers, i need help...

Post by Web-Site! » Tue Apr 27, 2004 8:19 pm

hello guys,
my friend is coming to NY in a few days and i'd like to give him a task to buy me a lap-top. i'm looking for Toshiba Satelite, not less then 2Ghz processor and 512 DDR memory. i also have around 1200 $ to give him, so here's your part.... (no, i'm not asking you to add some of your money to the basket  )... what i need is the address of some reliable store for Lap Tops. it's really hard to find them on the net. most of them are online shops and we are not dealing with credit cards in this part of the world.
ok, hope you'll be able to help, this one is quite important to me.
thanks + best,
w :!:

B&H, or J&R are your best bets. Upstairs at J&R they have macs if that is what you are after, just as good, and not as busy as the Mac store.

J&R is on Broadway and Vesey I think or at least close thereto.
