I would like some feedback on the best (but reasonably priced) midi controller available for DJing (mainly tribal house music) live with Live. I am considering the Axiom 25 for it's size and pads, UC33e, padkontrol, trigger finger. Which is more suitable given my genre?

It totally depends on what you are wanting to do. Are you wanting to play on pads during your performance? Do you need keys to play live?
I don't need either (yet) so I use a UC-33e live and it works great because it has a good number of knobs and faders, with nothing unnecessary.

UC-33 works great for me too - got me to ditch the cross fader which I think is the best way to go for DJ'ing with Live.

Hey, that looks pretty nice! Not enough knobs for what I need, but looks like a great unit. I'm really happy with my Novation ReMote25...seems like they make good gear.

For a good DJ controller I like the Kenton Killamix Mini. It's a small footprint yet professional and is very flexible. I'm not into triggering with pads for DJ sets. My Killamix and Eyris give me everything I need. Once in a while I'll also use an O2.
