Vinyl like stop function for MP3

Hey is there a funtion in live so as a mp3 track can be stiopped on a beat, much like what you would do on a turntable with the STOP butten.

Check out TapeStop at http://hem.bredband.net/tbtaudio/. That should do the trick.

thanks, thats whqt I was looking for, dont suppose there is a VST for spinbacks or playing a couple of bars in reverse?

There is no vst for spinbacks (unfortunately)...

But for playing a couple of bars in reverse there is a sweet VST called:

TempoSyncReverser

The clue's in the name..! :wink:

Sounds to me like you'll like these VSTs as well (great for DJ'ing/Live PA):

I gave the Artillery II demo a whirl last night. I didn't like it. Shame - 'cos it looks wicked and in theory it should be amazing. I might give it a nother try...

I created a tape stop *like* preset with Beat Repeat once..

grab it here..

it might need some extra tweaking but it gave me very nice results already..

The Beatrepeat Tapestop preset is broken - any chance you could re-up it somewhere?
