Does CTRL+P works?
The manual says that Ctrl+P shows/hides the plugin windows, but I can't do anything with Ct+P. I'm trying to assign this with Bome's Midi Translator, but with the keyboard does not work either. Am I doing something wrong?
I don't know what bome has anything to do with it. Is it a plugin or a program, what are you trying to do?
If you open (any) plugin first and then hit cntrl+P, it will close the window. Hit the command again and the plugin will appear again. You've got to open the plugin manually once first for it to work.
If it still doesn't work, check your operating system key commands to make sure it's not overriding Live's key command.

it is written wrong in the description / help browser !!!
Only just the two keys just like it says in the manual. Strange it would be any different for you.

They changed it in LIVE6. You have the old behaviour.icedsushi wrote:Nah for me on mac it's just cmd+p. (in other words, apple+p)SubFunk wrote:ahhh... super, how embarassing after so looong... i found it...

that's weird, i'm running live 7 and it's alt+cmd+p, even though the info view describes it wrong.icedsushi wrote:But I'm running Live 7. And it's still the same as it was in Live 5 (apple+P).
anyway, what i'm finding is that if i save and reopen a live set, all my plug in windows default to closed, and the keyboard shortcut doesn't work to re-open them. i have to click on that spanner icon to open each plugin window.
is there any way to get live to save the state of my plugin windows, so that when i re-open the project, the plugin windows are restored?
