First Disco 77 and now Cardboard!

Yo,

It seems that the fine people at Ableton just can't help killing off my favourite skins...

I lost Disco 77 a couple of versions ago and now Cardboard is gone!

What the hell???

I don't like the other skins and now Live doesn't even feel like itself to me.

Why would they possibly take out a skin?

Does anyone know how I can get Cardboard back

I don't remember Disco 77. That must have been in the old days before when I started on Live 3. Do you still have a copy of the Disco77.ask file?

Tried one of the old ones and copying the skin onto the L7 install? - http://www.ableton.com/latest_versions

Too right ! Those are my favourite skins too and they're both gone ! I'm not sure I have copies of Disco 77 anymore but could probably find cardboard some place on one of my computers. Does anyone have a ZIP file with ALL the old skins in ?

One forum member made a skin designer.
Piss easy to use IIRC.
Perhaps PC only perhaps not don't remember.

Got it ! Click here and you'll find the two original ASK files (apologies to Ableton if I'm infringing any copyrights here):

You'll need to install these two files in the "Contents / Apps Resources / Skins" folder which you'll find by control clicking on the Live.App icon and selecting "Show Package Contents".

I have to say, Disco 78 doesn't look quite as cool as I remember it ! Cardboard still doing it for me though.
