how do i make a track fade in and out? for endings and beginnings.

Heh, maybe not...re-reading it sounds like he wants to make the "song" fade in/out, not just a "track". Sometimes confusing as the term is used duplicitously in recording i.e., a track is made up of many tracks...but I suppose in Live terminology I'm talking about Clips.Lo-Fi Massahkah wrote:Cool. Still, if Live had this functionality (like it should), one could mix their song down to a stereo track and then treat it like a clip, pulling the edges to fade in/out.
